The first thing the Curiosity rover is curious about: Its wheel!

If you haven’t heard, the Curiosity rover has just now landed on Mars, and the camera didn’t get too dusty. I was expecting to only see dust in the photo, but they got some pretty clear images. The first images are only 256 x 256 pixels, but considering it takes 14 minutes to send any data that distance, that’s great.

Update: This image was taken with its protective cover still on. Clearer photos with the protective cover off are coming in now.
