Uploaded by Rob Paulsen himself!
Second video also gives a little background on the recording of these cartoon songs.
(audio/video sync is a bit off, but it’s still great to watch)
ALSO, if you’ll be around Hollywood this Friday, July 27th, Rob Paulsen will be singing Animaniacs songs at the John Lovitz Comedy Club! More info at thejonlovitzcomedyclub.com! Later, you’ll be able to download the audio of this performance at RobPaulsenLive.com. Rob has a great podcast there, where he chats with the BEST voice actors in Hollywood(He’s still trying to con Frank Welker into doing an episode). Maurice LaMarche(The Brain) and Jess Harnell(Wakko) are some of the most notable, in my opinion, but you might have some you consider more notable, like Tara Strong(Twilight Sparkle), for instance. Great interviews.
I had a busy day today, and I stand a very good chance of waking up around 6am like I did last morning, and that sounds enticing to me. I’m actually going to sleep tonight & work on the comic in the morning instead of torturing my sleep schedule with “I’d rather be sleeping” cartooning time. Maybe my sleep schedule can normalize itself as a result.
I hate to post late comics, but I hate my irregular sleep schedule even more. After all, I woke up at a normal time today an it wound up being a productive day. Let’s see if I can duplicate that. :)
From now until the end of July 4th, fireworks will be ready to launch ON DEMAND at Kennyland! Just click on the black One-Click Fireworks Trigger board at the corner of the park & get a free show!
I like how my neighbor’s waterfall occasionally splashes water onto the sparks, heh. A new feature this year is that the fireworks actually illuminate the area, which I found to be much more immersive.
The show looks best from the sandbox, although you can only hear the fireworks within the Furnation Alpha region, which is the area behind, beside and inside Kennyland.
I’m sorry, but I’ve lost my patience with my computer crashing just minutes after booting up, multiple times. I don’t have time to wait just for multiple reboots. I think it’s just getting too hot. I need to be up in the morning and can’t wait for any more reboots. I will continue working on today’s comic tonight(Thursday) and you can expect it Friday morning.
The comic is scripted and the first panel is finished. The 3d model is almost ready to render. I don’t expect the computer to let me go any further without wasting more time with crashing.
I need a new computer. I’m actually typing this from my phone.
And the progress shots with close-ups!

Every Towel Day, which is always on May 25th, fans of the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy books celebrate Douglas Adams by carrying a towel with them. Also every Towel Day, I put my Don’t Panic towel on display at Kennyland. The towel is always available for free in the freebies cart, but on the special day, I make it available by itself, as well. You can lay down on it right next to the other towels on the beach & click the rolled-up version at the head of the towel to get one of your own. You can visit Kennyland on Second Life here.
Chattering dolphin is here for one day only, as well, with floating text next to it translating its noises into English.
UPDATE(4:11am CST): I’ve scattered the Don’t Panic towels around the beach, and even put one on the soup bowls ride. You can actually ride the soup bowls ride on a Don’t Panic towel!
The Kennyland theme park on Second Life is back and renovated! Now located in Furnation Alpha between the mall and the sandbox. (Second Life is an online 3D world, like a video game but not)
The old Kennyland was themed to the Kenny Chronicles comic & it was beyond time to re-theme it for Ferrets Vs Lemmings. Since I didn’t want to make a grand re-appearance with the exact same out-of-date layout as before, I decided to go ahead with the remodel, even if I don’t have all of the new attractions ready yet.
The swimming pool is now a beach that’s styled like the beach on Ook Island. It’s more space-efficient, prim-efficient(resource-efficient), and BIGGER than the old pool with more floating stuff. I’ve removed the Comic Coaster because it was the most out-of-date attraction there, featuring a story arc from October 2009, before I started using 3D backgrounds at the end of November 2009. It stopped being a good representation of the comic at that point. I have a roller coaster in mind to replace it with, but there’s a lot of programming to do on the ride, and it requires a large area of Ook Island to be fully built(scenery for a portion of the ride), so I’m simply aiming for “by the end of the year” for that.
The dodgeballs will be back when I’ve re-themed that area to not be about Funky Skunk. I don’t know where I’ll put it yet, anyway. Could be right above, could be underground, could be in a skybox you have to teleport to. Each has its own challenges and advantages.
I have some other things in mind, but I’ll mention them as I finish them. Right now, the park is finally ready to be visited. If you have Second Life(free to join, chat, roam around), you can visit the new Kennyland by clicking here.
Monday’s comic WAS titled “Like A Breeze”, to refer to the windy time ahead and that raccoon running quickly, but a friend pointed out something that inspired a much better title: “Looting Has Already Begun”. Thanks, Jonathan. :)
Finally, you can buy Ferrets Versus Lemmings shirts, mugs, ties, cell phone cases AND MORE at www.zazzle.com/FerretsVsLemmings! I’m very happy to finally have this available.
Be sure to check the New Products category, as well, because Zazzle takes a long time to move things out of there after you tell it to(it’ll be sorted out in the next day or two). For the Party Ferret items, which the New Products category is filled with, you’ll also have to set Zazzle’s content filter to Moderate or Off(in the side bar), because he’s drinking alcohol.
