Curious Rover And The Red Planet
If you haven’t heard, the Curiosity rover has just now landed on Mars, and the camera didn’t get too dusty. I was expecting to only see dust in the photo, but they got some pretty clear images. The first images are only 256 x 256 pixels, but considering it takes 14 minutes to send any data that distance, that’s great.
Congratulations, NASA.
Update: This image was taken with its protective cover still on. Clearer photos with the protective cover off are coming in now.
This was taken with the rear left hazcam we wont get good quality photos untill the "head" of curiosity is lifted and the master ca(s) is operational
