4Fathers was Kenny’s last workplace before he got the brain damage that made him Duke Of Dook And Ook.
Anybody who has worked in retail or foodservice is familiar with the phenomenon in this comic. There was one time where a competitor had a 45 minute wait on something that takes 7 minutes to cook, which caused a customer to prefer the restaurant I work at. I was surprised at the wait that the customer told me about. Well, a few months later, all of our fryers were occupied and sure enough, we had a 45 minute wait on something that takes 7 minutes to cook. And then there are the customers who seem to have the absolute worst luck, only coming when we just happen to be out of the one thing that we NEVER run out of. It’s absolutely bizarre.
The year is 2132
Female dog: I don’t eat at 4fathers Pizza anymore because they’re always out of sausage! From now on, I’m only getting my pizza at Pelagic Pizza Plaza.
Female ferret: Funny, I only eat pizza at 4fathers because Pelagic Pizza Plaza is always out of sausage.
So how Brain Damaged is Kenny anyways?
It just causes his ears to twitch randomly. The biggest effect is the sympathy from Guy and Death.

I used to work at a Toys R Us.
This comic reminded me about how he would send customers to a nearby store, if we didn't have the latest barbie doll or etc.
…And when the other store didn't have a popular item, they'd tell the customer to walk about 8 minutes + look for it at OUR store.
Sort of an unspoken agreement, of how to dump unwanted customers on each other :D
